On October 31, the gloomy European fall was brightened by the long-awaited Meet Magento Netherlands event, which gathered businesses and professionals in Amsterdam. NEKLO did not hesitate and took the opportunity to get new knowledge and inspiration from the Magento community. Our representatives, Anastasiya Kulesh and Alex Mokievets, visited the conference and brought their impressions of the evening.
Actually, it all started the day earlier, with the pre-party, where the networking opportunities had already unfolded.
The next day was full of activities. The core interests were presentations from prominent Magento community speakers, including developers and business leaders. They were separated into two tracks: Business and Tech.
For us, the main highlight was Hyvä’s announcement of launching the Hyvä Commerce together with Mollie, a financial services provider. It was definitely a big day for the community! Other speakers shared their insights on eCommerce, technology, and automation, and we are already considering implementing several ideas into our projects.
The conference's unofficial atmosphere encouraged participants to network and engage in conversations. That's great when you can meet real people who stand behind renowned company names! Anastasiya and Alexander were happy to expand their network with fresh connections and meet past acquaintances. And the afterparty just made the night even better!
The Lady Magento event became a great surprise for Anastasiya the next day. This special event focuses on women's representation in the IT industry.
Lady Magento Brunch provided an opportunity for women in the Magento community to connect, share experiences, and discuss topics related to their roles in e-commerce and technology. Our project manager Anastasia shared her experience working with NEKLO, the company's policy towards women and a non-discriminatory work environment.
These were three days filled with events, fresh connections, and new faces, and we are glad we were part of this vibrant setting with more than 400 attendees.
